2018: This day was an adventure with lots of hiking. The sun here made for some amazing photography with the light changing dramatically from an early morning grey tint when I arrived, to a golden sheen in the late afternoon. Those are California Condors in the image of the birds circling the rocky spires. A very lucky day indeed! The image of me shows how far I have to go...next time.
2019: It was 23 degrees when I arrived this morning. The sun eventually warmed things up but since I came to the west side this time, it wasn't until 930am that the sun peeked over the ridgeline. BRRRRRR! Another great day for image making. No condors this time.
1st batch: Nikon F5 35mm Film Camera/2nd batch: Nikon D850 DSLR - I used the AF-S Nikkor 28-300mm 1:3.5-5.6 G VR Lens for both sessions.
