This was my first visit here. Wrong season. Wrong time of day.
The sun was brutal, and there weren’t many critters around. I did get some. I tried to capture the Dunbarton Bridge several times, but I couldn’t get around the sun.
I came back again later in the season and later in the day. The tide was in and it didn’t stink so bad as this time.

There were stilts, Avocets, Sandpipers, a Wren (I think), and, of course, a squirrel. I think they follow me. At one point, I watched a marsh hawk try to get near the Avocet nests. Nope. Chased that fella off in a hurry.
It’s not a great shoot. I’ll do my next trip out there tomorrow. It was way better all around.

Popi live ya.
