Hi, I'm Michael Hurder!

and my sight lives here.

January 2022
And so the new year begins with more Digital Art. I am more and more convinced that these AIs are fantastic artistic tools for rendering my images to new heights. That's not to say I won't still use unadulterated images from my photoshoots. But I will continue to explore new artistic interpretations of those same images and more importantly, the images I would normally have thrown away for quality issues.

This is my second month of recreating my art with a bit of a flare. It's an interesting game I play as I browse through my collections looking for the just-right image for a particular preset. Sometimes, I'm way off, and others I'm spot on. This is fun.

I've recently gone against my rule about using presets. The thought process was that I didn't need to use others' work to make mine better. Well, maybe I can. 🤔 In reality, if I can use an ai to make my images more dramatic without taking away from the interpretation of what I've seen, that's probably not so bad. More importantly, if I can save a not-so-great piece of my work using a more advanced noise filter or distraction remover, that's not bad either. This collection is called "Digital Art" to identify them as a composite rather than a pure and unadulterated photo. These are the first of my digitally remastered images made from my existing collections.
