PCH #1

Though I should have held off, I couldn't wait any longer. I made my way to the Pacific Coast Highway south of Big Sur for the first time in a while. This was supposed to be a Whale Hunt, but there were no whales this day, so I captured what I could. In San Simeon (known for the Hearst Castle), I visited an Elephant Seal Vista Point. There is a walkway built just above the beach that overlooks a popular resting place for these massive seals. There are literally hundreds of them basking in the sun. The coast itself is always a good subject for the lens to study.
