I have SPACE!
Well, I’ll be dipped in gravy with the biscuits. I suddenly have more space than I’ve had since the day after I first built this site. WHOOHOO!
Let me tell you the culprit. Better yet, I’ll suggest you very carefully review what you plan on doing before you do it. Don’t become impatient and just helter-skelter tear stuff up. It may be a great way to learn, provided you ultimately reach a solution; but fail for (in my case) more than five-minutes, and you’ll go fishing for any port in a storm. Then you can expect an extended period of time, spent unnecessarily undoing everything you just did, only slower and with much less surety than those who designed this @$%*&%#()i@#_+.
Yes, Spell-check, I know that isn’t a word. You wouldn’t feel any better about the real word I was thinking, so be grateful I am not including it in this space. I seem to be on a space kick. Oh, yeah. SEO.
When I famously destroyed my site a few weeks back, and in the midst of realizing all the stuff I didn’t consider first, the most important thing to occur to me was getting a full backup scheme in place for my space. Why I didn’t do that first is beyond me, but then lots of shit is way beyond me, so that’s not unexpected. And besides, my efforts in that direction served only to make a bad situation worse.
The Backup plugin I chose only works with higher tier plans than mine. But it will happily try and try again to create a backup, and continue to dump stuff into your space even though it’s not going to complete and I can’t access anything it’s doing – wrongly. Finally, the Happiness Engineers at WordPress lovingly removed the garbage, restoring my space from 14.6 GB to under 3 GB total.
Popi presents:

…the final frontier for certain sure.
I have to say, that this is truly and incredible age we live in. I’ve witnessed an era that thought 1200 baud was blazing fast. I was part of a vast network of people struggling to be the first to hit 9600 baud, and then on the pointy tip of 14.4K with Racal Milgo in Miami Florida. We achieved that benchmark – but couldn’t hold it. I was gone from that company shortly after that so I don’t know who exactly made that next leap, but here we are now talking about godlike capacities in the tflops (trillions of operations per second ). That’s Trillion, and per second. WTF, over?
All this amazing tech, and it still can’t protect itself from we puny humans with the puny brains. Um! Yeah! That’s all I can think of to say right now.

It’s a space miracle. An expanded void. An echo chamber of thoughts not yet formed into content desperately striving to break free their bonds and dazzle you with keen and timely reporting of the most impactful-events du jour – just waiting to fill – yes, you guessed it – to fill SPACE!!!
🥵 gasp – gasp – gasp 🥵
Said space-filling could also involve Photography or even writing, should there be some shooting and/or writing to do.
Since I’m newly reinvigorated to continue with these efforts; I’ll even share them with you.
PS: the only ones who seem to notice a slow down on my site are the same ones who want me to buy site-accelerator plugins that take up storage SPACE. Hmmm? 🤔
Popi luvs ya!

Can you see it?
