Most of my adult life I’ve witnessed changes of the guard politically several times. None have been more divisive as the past 20 years or so. The LBJ/Nixon era was child’s play in comparison. I, as I’m sure most of you, have grown immune to the promises of erasing the corruption of the previous tenants; only to watch nothing come of it – ever. In Corruption Exposed I discuss how because I’ve become used to an endless stream of corrupted politicians taking but never giving, except to those that will extend their domain; I’m finding it difficult to believe something different is occurring now. There was no one strong enough to cut through the grime. More likely, there was no one clean enough in that pack of rabid wolves to use that power for good.
note: There’s a lot of my opinion here. Opinion that has grown out of actual facts – listed below.
Corruption Exposed
Come the new boss with no political ties at all. He too is full of promises, so we settle back and wait. “Show me!” we said. And By God, has he ever shown us. He’s for real. Promises made. Promises delivered. It has seemingly taken for ever for them to get their ducks in a row, but it now looks like they are ready to blow the lid off government corruption entirely. I know this may not go over well with everyone. I ask you to examine your own reasons for denying we’ve made huge strides in restoring American values, honor, respect and pride to our governing cast. From this old Veteran, “Thank you, Mr. President, for doing what no one else would or could. Please, don’t stop.”
I can’t help but wonder what the hell we were afraid of for all these years. Why didn’t we revolt?
“When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle,” – Edmund Burke
“Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing.” – John Stuart Mill
Recent high-profile DOJ actions, grand jury indictments, and federal investigations across local, state, and administrative levels illustrate a major ongoing wave of public corruption enforcement.

High-Profile Cases and Active Enforcement – Corruption Exposed
- Federal Agency Records & Public Oversight: A former senior official at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) recently pleaded guilty to federal charges connected to concealing official government records during the COVID-19 pandemic response. This case highlights expanding scrutiny into federal agency record-keeping, administrative compliance, and public transparency.
- Political Bribery and Election Trade-Off Schemes: A federal grand jury unsealed a five-count indictment against Interim Jackson County Executive Philip LeVota in Missouri on charges including honest services wire fraud and federal program bribery. The charges stem from allegations that official government positions were offered to induce a candidate to abandon a local executive election campaign.
- Municipal and Housing Authority Corruption: Federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York recently charged former New York City Hall official Anthony Herbert alongside former NYPD officer Kevin Taylor in separate federal bribery and extortion schemes. These actions build on broader, multi-year prosecutions involving dozens of public housing authority and municipal agency officials.
- Local Public Fund Diversion: Federal indictments issued across multiple states involve city representatives and former state officials convicted in federal bribery, money laundering, and municipal fraud schemes, including cases where public community funds were diverted for personal use.
- Border & Law Enforcement Integrity: Multi-agency investigations led by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General have resulted in federal convictions of law enforcement and border officials, including former Customs and Border Protection officers charged with aiding illicit smuggling networks.
Quantitative Enforcement Data – Corruption Exposed
According to official Department of Justice data compiled by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC), federal official corruption prosecutions and convictions have trended significantly higher compared to previous years. The FBI serves as the primary investigative agency in over 55% to 60% of official corruption cases, with the most frequent federal charges centering on three primary statutes:
| Statute | Legal Designation | Core Focus Area |
| Title 18 U.S.C. § 1343 | Wire Fraud | Scheme to defraud using electronic communications |
| Title 18 U.S.C. § 201 | Bribery of Public Officials | Giving or receiving items of value to influence official acts |
| Title 18 U.S.C. § 666 | Federal Program Theft / Bribery | Corruption involving entities receiving federal funds |
Systemic Impact and Accountability – Corruption Exposed
The rising volume of indictments and high-profile convictions demonstrates an increasing focus on institutional accountability. From local municipal offices to federal administrative agencies, the unsealing of grand jury indictments signals that long-standing practices of official misconduct face heightened legal exposure. Restoring trust in public governance depends on maintaining this rigorous enforcement across all levels of administration.
What is listed above in Corruption Exposed is absolutely the tip of the iceberg. You will see more dominos fall as those recently accused will want to work out deals for lighter punishments. And so it will go. We see the push back at every notion of doing the right thing. The left voted NO blocking legislation that would protect women in sports and in general. They voted NO blocking legislation that would secure our vote. They vote NO always when it comes to securing our border. They vote NO blocking legislation that would protect us from the mass fraud they are profiting from. It’s not just a few of them. With the exception of one or two rational Democrats, they vote in lockstep against anything put forward by this administration, regardless the issue and result of their vote. That is how COLD the Democrats have become. Is that your Democrat Party? It’s not mine and that’s why I vote the other way. I’m not a died in red republican. At heart, I’m a middle of the roader. Unfortunately, that compromising mindset is what got us here. Right now, IMO, we need to be resolutely right-handed until we make it safe for middle of the road Democrats to come back outside.
