…are these “Prometheans” all hype or all knowing?
Lately things just aren’t adding up. Unless we’ve let the mainstream bury our heads for us, we can’t help but notice all the negatively impactful elements of government being exposed almost every day. It’s not small scale graft or the like. NO, it’s nation destroying anarchy in many cases. It doesn’t seem to matter which side of the government we’ve talking about now either. In the case of US politics, it sure seems like the majority of our leaders are and have been crooked as hell, and we, the people, have been taking it on the chin for decades.
According to Prometheans, all indications point to an insidious centuries old global model. One built on “Empire”, and I’ve never seen things so clearly now that I add this tidbit to the mix of global razmataz we’ve been fed since I can remember about who the bad guys are and how we should defeat them. Has it all been a scam? Does “Empire still rule the waves“? Why are we only hearing of this now? This independence from empire is all based on the tenets of the founding fathers, detaching us from it. And yet they still hold sway?
This SUCKS! and we can absolutely point to one man, one politically unaffiliated man, unbeholden to anyone, who is opening the records for all to see. The one man fully half the country have been convinced to hate. How fucking diabolical is that?
Someone please tell me; how does any of that mesh with an “open society”? How did we become so complacent as to allow this? WTF, over?

Prometheans
I’ve dug into this Promethean movement some to see what all the fuss is about. I’m particularly impressed with Promethean Action’s Susan Kokinda, an eloquent promethean veteran and knowledgeable speaker. If you spend some time listening to her, you may find yourself in the same boat as I, wondering WTF have I been hearing all my life, and whom do I believe now?
Here’s some background about the word itself, it’s roots, and the movement taking action today based on these founding principles.
Prometheans represents a distinct synthesis of historical economic theory, national development, and modern populist politics that continues to reshape contemporary political discourse. Rooted in the political advocacy and philosophical framework of Promethean Action, this movement champions a return to sovereign industrial credit, heavy infrastructure development, and technological frontier expansion. Founded around 2021 by key organizers and intellectual figures from the former Lyndon LaRouche movement, the group brings a unique historical perspective to modern debates over globalism, manufacturing, and national sovereignty. Examining how this ideology fuses classical American political economy with current political movements reveals why its policy proposals resonate across the modern political landscape.
Core Philosophy and Ideological Framework – Prometheans
The intellectual core driving the Prometheans revolves around a stark binary between two historical models of economy and statecraft.
- The American System of Political Economy: Drawing directly from Alexander Hamilton, Henry Clay, and Abraham Lincoln, they advocate for state-directed credit, protective tariffs, and massive national infrastructure projects designed to build long-term physical wealth.
- Anti-Oligarchic Opposition: The movement views global financialization, speculative Wall Street trading, and free-market globalism as modern iterations of the “British Imperial System,” which they argue undermines national sovereignty and industrial capacity.
- Frontier Science and Technological Growth: Named after the mythical Titan who brought fire to humanity, the group places supreme emphasis on high energy-density power, space exploration, and advanced scientific research to drive economic progress.
Economic Policies Advocated by Prometheans – Prometheans
| Policy Domain | Traditional Model | Proposed Promethean Framework |
| Monetary System | Federal Reserve & private commercial banking | Sovereign National Bank issuing targeted public credit |
| Banking Regulation | Deregulated investment & commercial blending | Re-imposition of strict Glass-Steagall structural separation |
| Energy Strategy | ESG compliance & subsidized renewables | Heavy investment in nuclear fission, fusion research, & fossil fuels |
| Manufacturing | Offshore supply chains & globalized trade | Vertical “mine-to-mill” domestic supply chains & protective tariffs |
Leadership and Political Operations – Prometheans
Headquartered in Purcellville, Virginia, the organizational engine behind these initiatives operates primarily through digital media, educational briefings, and grassroots political organizing. Key leadership figures bring decades of experience in physical economics and legal analysis:
- Michael “Mike” Steger: Co-founder and primary political organizer who regularly delivers briefings on national defense, physical economics, and space policy.
- Barbara Boyd: Senior legal analyst and political writer responsible for major investigative white papers detailing anti-globalist geopolitics.
- Susan Kokinda: Strategic organizer managing grassroots outreach, legislative advocacy, and regular political briefings.
By aligning Hamiltonian economic policy with the modern MAGA and populist right platforms, the Prometheans have successfully reframed long-standing physical economy concepts into active political strategy. Their advocacy for nuclear power, space exploration, and national banking offers a detailed alternative to both conventional free-market conservatism and progressive economic models.
Prometheans
I don’t know about you, but I always thought of Lyndon H. Larouche Jr as another eccentric visionary we should hear, be dazzled a little by, and then forget about and move on. Now that I think about it, it seems I may have been “conditioned” to think that way – a recently familiar indicator of how complacent even I’ve become. Well, now I’ll just have to do a deep dive on Lyndon.
More to come on this subject…
