04Aug-Photo Release – This was one of those day trips I was talking about the other day. I’d been over this way a few times and remembered that the sun was a horror just about all day if you wanted to shoot the city or the bay.

03Aug-Photo Release – Not much to crow about with this shoot. Things actually got sort of repetitive and I needed a break from the norm. I started taking day trips to knock down my photo-bucket list.

01Aug-Photo Release – When I first stated following our eagles they nested off the park property on Ranch land east of the park. There are several large ranches beyond the park running on Arroyo Road. I’m told there are Golden Eagles out that way, but it’s private property and there’s no way out there.

30Jul-Photo Release – On this trip to Del Valle we decided to take a trail we had never taken before. It was so good it was bad.

29Jul-Photo Release – The girls love it here – long straight flat runs and they can be off-leash. Most of the Raptor images I’ve captured have come from this location. It’s chock full of ground squirrels, voles, chipmucks, snakes, lizards, and frogs.

28Jul-Photo Release – There’s not a lot to say about this shoot that I haven’t said before. There’s always a good variety of feathery folks, and the girls are there too, so there’s that. The rains came early thin=s year, the hills were screaming green in November.

25Jul-Photo Release – This is Oak Grove. It’s part of Del Valle but separated by the entrance road to the park. When I was healthy we hiked up here a lot. The dogs loved playing chased in through the trees. and rolling in the leaves in fall.

24Jul-Photo Release – Baer Island is a nature preserve in San Francisco Bay. The park is also in one of the more difficult places to get to on a weekday, especially in the morning.
