It’s been a very long time since I’ve trusted our education department here in the USA. This Cocaine State U (PSU) scandal has me rocked right now. My own experiences in the early 70s which had children college professors openly mocking disabled combat veterans – and then took offense when we hit back. Today, try to talk as a conservative on a liberal campus – even though you can run a cocaine ring. This isn’t isolated. It’s systemic, and it’s related to liberal – progressive policy making.
I wont pretend to be an expert in the field of the fall of civilizations under socialism, but haven’t we seen enough? It doesn’t work as it is explained. It never does – except for those at the top of the ladder. For them it works great; until the next regime with a better socialist plan comes along and removes their predecessors…ad infinitum; while the proletariat gets nothing, and the children of the elite run ragged over everyone else without repercussion – until that regime change. Permissiveness teaches nothing. This is a very liberal ideal. It too never works.
What I do know is that it always seems to start small with intellectuals that think so highly of themselves that they believe they can lead the world to nirvana – albeit using a system that has repeatedly proven to be non-functional. We end up with the likes of another Cocaine State U at the highest levels of public education. Socialism never does work, but the flowery presentation made to the proletariat, who know no better, has them following along as with the Pied Piper. We know what happened to that crowd. Right?
So, WTF, over? When do we reign this garbage in and reclaim the education our children deserve? Let’s start with this crew of “educated” criminals. Nail them to the fullest extent of the law.
