Creative Burnout – can you relate to the following quote pulled off the internet this morning? I sure can. At one point in my professional online career, I had thousands of followers on several platforms – casual followers – not one spent a dime on my photos. 😑 I did really well for a couple of years but eventually those platforms fell victim to scammers and thieves. I shut them down and had no way to recover those ‘friends’ because they got scammed through me. When I came back to social media as a whole new persona, I gathered my original hundred or so friends and family. and slowly grew back to 200+. It’s not gone higher in two years. Am I buried? I don’t know. I’ve been stuck at around 80 subscribers with WordPress as though that’s the upper limit allowed. There’s a gazillion creators out there and a whole boat load of them are better at this that I am, so…
