On the subject or “Random Thoughts” this one invaded my space earlier today. I stewed on it for a while, then with all the scenarios running through my head about The Final Frontier, I got stuck on journaling. What if you had never seen the written word and then one day you did. How would you react? Group A or Group B. I’m solidly in with the B’s, but considering I can’t write worth a bean, I’ll need to type it out and have a future monk transcribe it for me.

I think we are fortunate that by the time Elon and company get us to the stars, AIs will be driving and maintaining the ships, we’ll be snoozing in a cryo-chamber. When we wake, we’ll be the same old flawed humans that left mother earth, so, this is probably not a concern. Instead, next time we’ll discuss being in the Space Travel Business and how that dynamic works for the crews who are always, or nearly always in space.
