Why a new page?
Over time, my daily updates have grown into a massive, sprawling archive, blending stories, books, and images into a single, unwieldy footprint. To give each piece of content the breathing room it truly deserves, I am separating the threads. While my narrative writing and books will find a permanent home on the “Good Reads” page, this space is strictly reserved for the visual journeys—serving as a central hub for all my photo-centric posts.
Please note that this is distinct from the Gallery, which remains exclusively reserved for high-quality, print-ready feature pieces. Instead, think of this page as a dynamic, evolving journal of specific moments in time. I am currently sorting through years of extensive image collections, diving back into the archives to meticulously recurate my past work. My goal is to pull out a single shoot every day or two, separating the wheat from the chaff to ensure that only the most striking, meaningful captures make the final cut.
This process isn’t just about organizing old files to stay busy; it is an active, technical challenge. Re-examining these shoots allows me to rigorously test my evolving post-processing and editing skills against a massive variety of lighting conditions and subjects. Each collection will be published chronologically based on when the shutter actually clicked, formatted clearly by the shoot date, such as “Photos 23May26”.
Ultimately, this project is a celebration of the creative process. Looking back at these frames with fresh eyes reminds me of the pure, unfiltered joy of creation—the quiet thrill of waiting for the perfect alignment of light, motion, and subject, and the timeless satisfaction of freezing that fleeting magic forever.
